July is National Mental Awareness month, and the Hear My Cry Foundation is hosting a great event to support the fight against suicide and support the awareness of mental illnesses.
The 3rd Annual Community Charity Event, entitled “Ride for Suicide,” will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017. The festivities will begin at 11:00 am with a motorcycle ride from Terrell (Ben Gill Park) to Flag Pole Hill 8100 Doran Circle Dallas, TX 75238. A fun, family-friendly cookout and entertainment will follow the ride at Flag Pole Hill.
The event is open to everyone: even if you don’t have a bike or don’t want to participate in the ride, all are welcome at the cookout for a fun day of entertainment beginning at noon at Flag Pole Hill.
The Hear My Cry Foundation is also accepting corporate sponsorships to help make this event a great success. They are requesting the support of local corporations and business owners to help make this inaugural event one that the Dallas community won’t forget.
By making a monetary donation, donating goods, and/or services for this event, you can make a difference in the lives of families who have been affected by suicide and mental illness right here in our local community. Education is key in being able to recognize that a loved one may be suffering from a mental illness. Community resources are a critical step in early intervention services that may improve the quality of life for those in need!
Check out the Hear My Cry website for more information about the foundation & the event.
You can also email info@hearmycryfoundation.org for sponsorship & vendor information.
We hope you’ll tell your friends and family about the “Ride 4 Suicide,” and come support the Hear My Cry Foundation on July 22nd!
Kind Regards,
The Medford Remodeling Team
