Medford Design-Build is a family-owned remodeling firm proudly rooted in Tarrant County, Texas since 1982. What began in Arlington, TX with founder Mike Medford Sr.’s dedication to craftsmanship has grown into a full-service design-build company, now led by his son, Michael Medford Jr., and CEO, Kourtney Davis. Even in retirement, Mike Sr.’s influence continues to guide our team and our values.

What truly distinguishes Medford Design-Build is our innovative Design-Build process. We don’t believe in cookie-cutter solutions. Our Design-Build process is all about making your dream home a reality and uniquely yours. From the first consultation to the final walkthrough, our in-house team of professionals work together seamlessly to guide you through every phase of the project. No juggling contractors, no missed details, just clear communication, thoughtful planning, and results that exceed expectations.
From custom kitchens to spa-worthy bathrooms, we’re here to help you live beautifully. While most people know us for our full-scale renovations, we also take on smaller projects through our “Mike’s Guys” division. Our dedicated team tackles Mike’s Guys projects with the same care and professionalism we bring to larger remodels.

The Leadership Behind the Legacy
Our President and Co-Owner, Michael Jr., grew up around job sites, power tools, and blueprints. Remodeling is in his blood, and he brings a deep respect for the trade along with a modern vision that keeps us evolving. Alongside him is Kourtney Davis, our fearless CEO. Kourtney blends sharp business insight with a passion for client care. Together, they’ve taken our family values and shaped them into a thriving, people-first company where excellence comes standard.
The Team Behind the Work
Interior Designer Stephanie Milford brings over 35 years of elegance and expertise to every project, while Technical Designer Brandy Anderson turns your vision into stunning 3D plans with precision and creativity. Master Carpenter Dave Broadfield and our talented Lead Carpenters—Neil Norris, Scott Vernon, and Jeff Murphy—bring those plans to life with flawless craftsmanship. On the marketing side, Millie Eagleston leads our business development and content strategy.
Michael Medford, Sr., CR
Founder & Co-Owner, Retired
Mike Medford, Sr. is our Founder and Co-Owner. He has over 45 years of experience in the remodeling industry and is a NARI Certified Remodeler. Mike Sr. has recently retired and is enjoying hiking, traveling and caring for his 3 rescue dogs. He continues to mentor our team to ensure the highest level of customer service to our clients and keeps us moving forward as a team, all while making sure we have fun along the way!
Michael Medford, Jr.
President & Co-Owner
Michael Medford, Jr. is our President and Co-Owner. In addition to overseeing our production team and process, he heads up our Mike’s Guys small projects division and Design-Build sales division. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the remodeling industry and has earned several certifications for product and remodeling business knowledge.
Kourtney Davis
Chief Executive Officer
Kourtney Davis is our CEO. Along with being a home builder’s daughter, Kourtney has 18 years of experience in the industry and holds a BFA in Human Relations and an AA in Interior Design. She has been with the Medford Team since 2015 and her leadership to the team ensures best practices are followed so that we can continue to provide high-quality service to our clients.
Millie Eagleston
Marketing Manager
Millie Eagleston is our Marketing Manager and brings expertise in digital marketing, content creation, print marketing, and brand development initiatives. She holds a BA in Marketing and comes from a family of home builders and interior designers. Her appreciation for craftsmanship and design drives her strategy in showcasing our expertise.
Stephanie Milford
Senior Interior Designer
Stephanie Milford is our Senior Interior Designer. She holds a BS in Interior Design and Housing with a minor in Business Marketing. She has been with Medford since 2010 and has over 35 years of industry experience as an independent Interior Designer. She oversees the final selections for our projects to ensure they bring our clients’ dreams to life.
Brandy Anderson
General Manager & Technical Designer
Brandy Anderson is our General Manager and Technical Designer. She has been on the Medford Team since 2019 and holds a BS in Interior Design. Brandy is responsible for overseeing our Design-Build drafting process including technical floorplans, 3-D renderings, virtual walk-throughs, estimating, and permitting. She collaborates with our clients during every aspect of our design process to make sure their dreams are graphically brought to life while ensuring the designs are technically and structurally planned for the best use of space.
Scott Vernon
Lead Carpenter
Scott Vernon is one of our Lead Carpenters and joined the Medford Team in 2019. Scott assists with carpentry, management, schedule adherence and expediting our construction projects. He is known for his punctuality, upbeat attitude and building great relationships with our clients.
Dave Broadfield
Production Manager
Dave Broadfield is our Production Manager. He has worked with the Medford Team since 2007 and is a Master Carpenter. He plays a critical role in ensuring our projects are completed on time, to the highest level of quality, and that our clients remain content throughout the entirety of the remodel.
Neil Norris
Project Manager
Neil Norris is our Project Manager and joined Medford in 2008. He is a highly skilled carpenter, jack of all trades, and is a vital asset working on our large Design-Build projects as well as projects for our Mike’s Guys small projects division.
Jeff Murphy
Lead Carpenter
Jeff Murphy is our Lead and joined Medford in 2023. He has 25 years of construction experience with an emphasis in residential framing, carpentry, and management. As a Marine Corp Veteran, Jeff is reliable, punctual, and accurate, and takes great pride in everything he does!
Sweetie (In Memoriam)
Stress Control Manager, Retired
Sweetie was our original Stress Control Manager starting with the team in 2014. She was one of Mike Sr.’s rescue dogs, and along with her owner, recently retired. She lived out the last several months of her life with the apple of her eye — Mike Sr. — and her furbaby siblings in East Texas, but was still able to come to our office for the occasional day visit. Sweetie peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge in the late Spring of 2024. Saying she will be missed is an understatement; she will always hold a special place in our hearts!
JJ
Stress Control Manager
JJ is our newly promoted Stress Control Manager who started with the team as an intern in 2020. JJ was a stray that frequented our office complex for weeks before he decided to call our office his permanent home. He spends his day hopping from office to office offering his stress relieving snuggles. He has turned even the hardest cat-haters into cat-lovers. Just ask our owner, Michael Jr.!
Beyond these team members, the Medford Team has a number of vetted professional tradesmen, vendors, and suppliers that work with us on a regular basis to make all of our projects possible! Many of these people have worked with the Medford Team for over 20 years.
As a luxury remodeler, we require those that we work with to maintain a high level of pride in what they do. We believe the qualities of our final products are directly related to the individuals we choose to work with, so when we say we have a GREAT team, we mean it!
