Here at Medford Remodeling, we love our local Tarrant County community and are always happy to find events benefiting those in need. The Fort Worth Cops for Kids Program is a non-profit organization founded in 2003. Through private funding, this great organization has helped over 5000 disadvantaged children in the Fort Worth area by providing gifts to children in local hospitals, offering scholarship opportunities, providing school supplies and arranging social activities.
Fort Worth Cops for Kids demonstrates local law enforcements’ continued concern for the children in our community by encouraging them to build stronger family relationships by fostering quality friendships with a focus on education.
If you appreciate organizations like the Cops for Kids program and would like to get involved in helping our community, now is your chance! The organization is hosting their 2016 BBQ Cook-off on Friday and Saturday, March 25-26th, at Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth!
Last year, 123 cooking teams entered the competition, raising more than $7,500.00! What an impact these kinds of donations make on the lives of kids and young adults in the DFW community!
There are several different ticket options, which will serve to enter you in the cook-off, grant you access to the VIP lounge area, provide dinner from Reata Restaurant, a live concert and more! All proceeds benefit FW Cops for Kids Charity.
Here is the event flyer sent out by the organization:
