Do you and your friends enjoy a competitive game of disc golf on the weekends? If so, this featured community event is for you!
DFW Disc Golf Center of Arlington and the City of Grand Prairie are hosting the second annual ‘Feed the Homeless’ Christmas Blanket Drive Disc Golf Tournament, coming up in November. They will be accepting blanket donations to distribute to the local homeless community before the Christmas season. What a great way to give to those in need during the holiday season!
The tournament will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2020, from 1 PM to 5 PM at Turner Park in Grand Prairie, 76050. Tickets are $20 per person and will include tournament entry, a pizza lunch, a raffle for prizes, and a $20 voucher to spend onsite or at the DFW Disc Golf Center. Enter to play Singles, Doubles, or Triples, in one round of 18 holes – 1st Place winners will receive trophies.
Proceeds and blanket donations will be collected and distributed to the homeless.
