Big Texas Toy Run and Happy Holidays!

Big Texas Toy Run 2013

This past Sunday I joined Santa Claus and hundreds of other bikers riding in the Big Texas Toy Run. The Big Texas Toy Run is a combined effort of the biker community to raise money and toys for Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex children with mental and physical disabilities.

We staged for the ride at Gateway Park in Fort Worth. It was cold; the temperature was in the low 40’s, and dropping!

Our Marketing Coordinator, Elizabeth, went along for the ride. I appreciate her support in our company’s community efforts.

Big Texas Toy Run 2013 Lone Star Park to Grand Prairie
We rode on I-30 from Beach Street in Fort Worth to Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie. The police stopped the traffic, and well-wishers lined the route waving and holding up holiday signs.

At Lone Star Park, the toys were delivered and we were treated to entertainment, exhibits and other holiday festivities.

This is the last blog for this year as we take time to celebrate the holidays. I hope you and your families have a wonderful holiday season, and I wish you the best of luck in the New Year.
