The Medford Team is always happy to share local community events that positively benefit individuals, groups, or organizations in need. Coming up in March, Health’s Angels Bike MS Cycling Team is hosting a clay shooting tournament in Fort Worth, benefitting the National MS Society!

About the Event:

This fun-filled day will include lunch, drinks, a raffle and prizes, and of course, some healthy competition among friends!

Both experienced and inexperienced shooters are welcome. Participants are required to bring their own guns, and, due to the national shortage of ammunition, they are recommended to bring their own shotgun shells. Mulligans or do-overs will be available for $5 each and can be purchased on-site. Teams will consist of 4 participants, and those that attend individually will be assigned to a team the day of the event. Please note that shooters under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The winning teams will be awarded prizes, as will the top male and top female shooters of the day. Read more

Adopt-A-River!

We love our community and take pride in keeping the environment clean and safe. The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) does a great job of managing and maintaining four of our major reservoirs and also constructed more than 150 miles of water pipelines, 27 miles of floodway levees, over 40 miles of Trinity River Trails, plus a 2,000 acre wetland water reuse project designed to increase future water supplies for the area!

The TRWD also provides opportunities for the community to get involved in these efforts, such as the bi-annual Trinity River “Trash Bash” which encourages the clean-up and preservation of the Trinity River. Read more

Texas Motor Speedway welcomed more than 325 supporters for the 13th Dallas-Fort Worth Ride for Kids to support children battling brain tumors. Riders of all ages and all models of bikes came together to increase awareness about childhood brain tumors and raise funds for medical research and family support.

Each rider donated a minimum of $40 for the event, which included a 30 mile ride in the country and three laps around the speedway. Those with trikes and side cars gave many of the young brain tumor patients a ride! Read more
