Hello, Extra Storage Space! A Beautiful Attic-to-Closet Conversion

Whether the project is a room addition, a kitchen remodel, a master suite refresh, or another type of home renovation, it seems that nearly all our clients have at least one common goal: to increase storage space! Ample storage is a coveted feature for today’s homeowners. No matter how many cabinets, drawers, shelves, and closets there are, there is always a need for more. Our recent clients in Aledo, TX, initially came to us for cosmetic updates throughout their house: flooring, painting, trim, lighting, etc. Once these smaller updates were underway by our small projects division, Mike’s Guys, our clients mentioned to us that they were considering enclosing part of their unused attic space to create an additional storage closet with access from the upstairs hallway. A Glamorous Master Suite Addition & Garage Conversion in Colleyville

A home remodeling request we have noticed becoming more popular recently is that of a master suite addition. We often meet with homeowners whose elderly parents are moving in with them or those that absolutely love their home, neighborhood, and community, and simply need more space. Whatever the reason may be, more and more homeowners are considering adding onto their current home instead of moving. While the obvious high cost of a major addition prevents us from completing too many of these types of projects, we do get the opportunity to complete them every now and then, and the clients are always glad they did it at the end! Whole House Remodel Part 3: The Master Bathroom & Closet

If you’ve been following along with our 4-part blog series featuring our recent whole house remodel, you’ve likely already seen the posts detailing the renovations of the kitchen and living spaces. In this post, we’ll be sharing the grand reveal of the show-stopping master bathroom and glamorous walk-in closet!

Much like the kitchen and living spaces, the original master bathroom had good bones, so it didn’t require a lot of structural changes. It was open and spacious with a large bathtub, corner shower, toilet room, and two vanities. It also included separate “his & hers” closets. Unfortunately, as many positives as there were for this bathroom, it was still very out of date. The goal of our designers was to refresh the aesthetic of the bathroom with a clean, modern look and streamline the features to really take advantage of all this bathroom had to offer. Read more
