Mission Arlington is a great organization, purposed to make a positive impact and assist with the needs of our community. They focus on a wide range of ministries, such as children and youth, healthcare, spiritual support, and crisis intervention. Many of their ministries provide products and services that are free or low-cost to low-income residents of Arlington, such as dental and medical treatment, after school programs, sport leagues, school supplies, food and clothing, transportation, counseling services, personal medical equipment, Bible studies, substance and abuse recovery support, Thanksgiving and Christmas provisions, and much more. Since 1986, they really have made a difference in the lives of those in need in our community!
To support Mission Arlington’s annual Christmas food and toy drive, Arlington Young Professionals is hosting “A Country Christmas” at Trail Dust Steakhouse in Arlington on Monday, December 15th from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The cost is $15 at the door, or a $10 toy (with tags or receipt). The event will consist of live music, line dancing, door prizes, and a complimentary food and happy hour until 8:30 PM. All proceeds will benefit Mission Arlington. It’s a great way to enjoy the evening with some friends or family while doing your part for a good cause this holiday season!
