WFAA’s Santa’s Helpers 2018

The holiday season is well underway, and a new year will be here before we know it! While it’s a busy time full of travel plans, family, and shopping, it’s important to remember that it is also a time for giving. In all of our hustle and bustle, we tend to forget that the holiday season can be a time of hardship for many families across the nation, including those throughout the DFW Metroplex. One of the most helpful things we can do to support those in need this time of year is to donate toys and gifts to local toy drives. It might not seem like much, but one donation could mean the world to a family in need!

WFAA’s Santa’s Helpers is celebrating its 49th year of collecting holiday toys for children throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth counties of Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant.

The 2017 Santa’s Helpers Toy Drive was a huge success providing holiday toys to more than 50,000 needy children throughout the four-county Dallas/Fort Worth area! They hope to make an even bigger impact this year, with multiple donation events scheduled throughout December. The next one coming up is in Arlington on Tuesday, December 11:

If you don’t have the time to pick up a toy to drop off at one of these locations, Santa’s Helpers is also accepting online donations.

We hope you’ll take the time to make a donation and help make someone’s holiday season a little brighter this year!
