About the Organization

via Project4031.org:

Project 4031 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that offers no-cost services to terminally ill children and adults, aiming to help strengthen end of life stories. The organization provides assistance by helping struggling families meet basic needs through financial support, fulfilling last dreams, and providing medical equipment to international outreach projects. Their goal is to provide a better quality of life and allow someone to end life well.

Funding for Families – It can be extremely difficult for families to manage the financial obligation of caring for a terminally ill loved one. Project 4031 provides financial assistance by helping pay for rent/mortgage, utility bills, groceries, healthcare items, and more for terminally ill patients and their families in desperate situations struggling to make ends meet.

Fulfilling Dreams – Often people pass away with regrets; they didn’t get to see someone or some place one last time. At Project 4031, they fulfill patients’ last dreams so they can leave this world with joy and peace. Unique to Project 4031, they do not have an age limit on making dreams come true, and will grant second dreams, as it’s understood that circumstances can change at the end of life.

Fueling International Outreach – While there are many needs in the United States, Project 4031 also serves international hospice programs in need of equipment and supplies. Through this service area, gently used medical equipment and supplies are donated and distributed to these international organizations. Project 4031 is currently working with a physician in Belize, in which over half the population is impoverished and do not have access to adequate healthcare resources.

Project 4031 is truly a great organization with a heartwarming purpose, an inspiring history and a motivated staff. We hope you will consider participating in their upcoming Gold Classic Fundraiser and help spread awareness about the event!
