Mark your calendars! The Susan G. Komen Foundation is hosting a walk/run fundraiser in our local Fort Worth Community!
The MORE THAN PINK Walk® is Komen’s signature fundraising event kicking off with a 1 Mile or 2.8 Mile Walk. It’s a day of coming together to share stories, laughter, encouragement, and tears to raise money that saves lives. You can become a part of a community of people ready to take action against breast cancer.
The Walk will kick off with a new, inspirational opening ceremony that will celebrate anyone who has ever faced a breast cancer diagnosis.
All funds raised support local education, screening, and diagnostic programs and global research efforts to find the cures. Register today and start fundraising to help meet the ambitious $700,000 goal.
The event is taking place Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Clearfork Main Street, Fort Worth. The timeline is as follows:
7:00 am – Registration opens
7:45 am – Picture of Survivors and Those Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer (meet at Hope Village)
8:30 am – Opening Ceremony. Walk begins immediately after
9:00am to 10:30 am – Party in the Park after the Walk
