With over 200 artists from local, regional, and even national areas, this free event is one of Fort Worth’s largest and most popular every year. Enjoy new entertainment venues, dancers, musicians, exhibitors, and food vendors during this outdoor event on April 20-23, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Attention golf lovers: our featured community event this month is an upcoming charity golf tournament taking place in Fort Worth, hosted by Vital Solutions!

Vital Solutions is a non-profit 501c3 organization with the goal of bringing accessible healthcare to impoverished communities in Kenya. Non-governmental, non-sectarian, and not-for-profit, Vital Solutions provides direct assistance to people and communities in need through accessible healthcare.

“Cycle a Round on MS” Sporting Clays Tournament

The Medford Team is always happy to share local community events that positively benefit individuals, groups, or organizations in need. Coming up in March, Health’s Angels Bike MS Cycling Team is hosting a clay shooting tournament in Fort Worth, benefitting the National MS Society!

About the Event:

This fun-filled day will include lunch, drinks, a raffle and prizes, and of course, some healthy competition among friends!

Both experienced and inexperienced shooters are welcome. Participants are required to bring their own guns, and, due to the national shortage of ammunition, they are recommended to bring their own shotgun shells. Mulligans or do-overs will be available for $5 each and can be purchased on-site. Teams will consist of 4 participants, and those that attend individually will be assigned to a team the day of the event. Please note that shooters under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The winning teams will be awarded prizes, as will the top male and top female shooters of the day. Read more

You can become a part of a community of people ready to take action against breast cancer.

Attention all dog-lovers! Don’t miss the upcoming “Trick or Trot” 5k Run/Walk hosted by the Humane Society of North Texas! This is great excuse to dress up yourself and your dog and get active—all while supporting a great cause.

The timed 5K run or untimed 1-mile walk and fun run will be dog-friendly, so be sure to bring your fur-baby along! This Halloween-themed event will feature awards for the top finishers in male and female in the 5K run in each age group, vendor booths, music, and more. Read more

Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is hosting it’s 28th Annual Fall Trash Bash on Saturday, September 21 from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM!

This bi-annual community event (occurring once in the spring and once in the fall) is purposed to clean up trash and debris that accumulates along the Trinity River throughout Fort Worth. 2019 Cowtown Great American Cleanup, 5K Run & Earth Party

The Keep Fort Worth Beautiful foundation is hosting the 34th annual Cowtown Great American Cleanup, coming up on March 30th! Each year, thousands of volunteers – including organizations, businesses, and individuals – come together to pick up litter from local parks, streets, creeks, and other public areas. In 2018, these hard-working volunteers removed over 140,000 pounds of trash from their communities!
 
 
You can select from a list of cleanup locations or choose your own (within the City of Fort Worth) and then register as an individual or as a group. All registrants will receive gloves and bags. T-shirts are limited to the first 7,000 registrants.

Our featured community event for the Month of October is the Neighborhood Litter Stomp! This event is a citywide volunteer litter clean-up hosted by Keep Fort Worth Beautiful. Every fall, the organization host the clean-up event, encouraging local residents and businesses to focus on beautifying their surrounding community. It’s free and for a good cause, so get your friends, family and neighbors together and help clean your local park, school or block!
 
 
The clean-up event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, from 8:00 AM – 11 AM. Register by October 7th to reserve your spot!
 
• Register as an individual or a group.
 
• All registrants will receive gloves and bags.
 
• T-shirts are limited to the first 2,000 registrants.
 
• Select from a list of cleanup locations or choose your own.

Did you know that tens of thousands of families and individuals struggle with hunger across North Texas each day? Now you can help make a difference with the Tarrant Area Food Bank! The TAFB invites social service agencies, faith-based organizations, community service groups and the general public to tour a working community garden and learn how community gardens help feed those who are hungry across the community.

Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Community Garden program operates the TAFB Learning Garden in Fort Worth for training and demonstrations. Produce grown in the garden is distributed to local agencies serving those in need. The TAFB Learning Garden showcases a wide variety of gardening techniques, materials and planting methods to inspire others to start their own gardening projects. Read more
