Happy belated 4th of July from the Medford Remodeling Team!
We hope all of you had a wonderful Independence Day.

The star of our newsletter this month is an open-concept kitchen remodel we recently completed in Grand Prairie, Texas. Not only were we able to provide our clients with a beautiful, modern kitchen, but we also created additional storage and countertop space by making some smart layout changes. The result is an open, flowing floor plan with improved functionality and a show-stopping look! Check out the blog to see the amazing transformation! Read more

Open Concept Kitchen

These clients have a beautiful home backing up to a lake, along with a great outdoor space that can be seen from a wall of windows alongside their kitchen. Unfortunately, their kitchen was very small and closed off – not ideal for entertaining guests! We reconfigured their kitchen, removed two walls, gave them a huge, beautiful island, and tons more storage space!

Expanding a Closed-off Kitchen Creates a Family-friendly Home

We recently had the pleasure of remodeling a kitchen for a client that has lived in the same house for 46 years. She loves her home and its convenient location, as well as the close-knit local community. Without a doubt, she plans to live there the rest of her life. With a very large family of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she loves to entertain and host family get-togethers.

Unfortunately, her previous kitchen was tiny and closed off from the rest of the house. The crammed, dated kitchen desperately needed expansion and a new look! Read more

Lakeside Kitchen Makeover

Our recent clients have a beautiful home right off a local lake. With a gorgeous panoramic view provided by a wall of windows that opens up to the patio, their kitchen serves as the primary hub during parties and get-togethers. Unfortunately, the home’s original kitchen just wasn’t built to accommodate the party scene:

As you can see in the before photos, the kitchen felt small and restricted due to the curved peninsula and the walls separating it from the neighboring laundry and formal dining room. One of our client’s main concerns was that the space didn’t flow well, and the small breakfast area couldn’t even fit 6 people at the table; not ideal for entertaining!

Galley Kitchen Renovation Reveal

Take a look at this beautiful kitchen we recently designed and built! If you’ve been following our Facebook posts, we’ve been keeping up with this project and posting progress pics weekly. It’s always exciting to post the grand reveal of the completed remodel and then look back over the previous weeks to see the transformation take place.

As you can see in the before photos, these clients had a typical galley kitchen – narrow and closed off from the rest of the house. The wall including the sink and the dishwasher separated the kitchen from the living room, leaving the clients with little space when entertaining guests. They really wanted to open up the kitchen to the living room, creating a flowing, contiguous room.

Upon discussing this idea with our clients, our talented designers were able to create vivid 3D renderings of the remodeled space so the clients could clearly see how the finished project would look once the wall was removed and the kitchen was renovated.
