Jaxon Anthony Memorial Foundation 9th Annual Clay Shooting Tournament

There is something to be said about non-profit organizations that selflessly offer a helping hand to those in need. At Medford Design-Build, we aim to support these local organizations by spreading awareness of their upcoming fundraising events.

This month, we would like to spotlight the Jaxon Anthony Memorial Foundation of Mansfield, TX. This heartfelt organization was created to honor the memory of Jeffrey and Ashley Arnold’s son, Jaxon Anthony Arnold, who was born and passed on July 9, 2012. The foundation gives financial support to families suffering an unexpected infant loss or stillbirth by assisting with the infant burial costs at Skyvue Memorial Gardens in Mansfield, where Jaxon was laid to rest. Do you or someone you know enjoy bowling? If so, our featured community event this month is for you! The Rock Joseph Memorial Scholarship is hosting their 7th Annual Rock & Bowl 9-Pin Tournament!

The tournament will include cash prizes for adult winners in both the Handicap and Fun divisions and scholarship prizes for winners in the Youth divisions. There will also be brackets, high pots, crossover doubles, raffles, and a split pot drawing.

Journey 2 Healing Hearts 2nd Annual ‘No More Gun Violence’ 5K/Fun Run

Journey 2 Healing Hearts (J2HH) is a non-profit organization that was formed out of grief after two local Arlington, Texas mothers lost their sons to gun violence. Their focus is on helping families and individuals heal after tragic losses due to gun violence, and also to support and educate the community for the cause of gun violence prevention.

J2HH will be hosting their 2nd Annual NO MORE GUN VIOLENCE Run on April 16, 2016, at Cravens Park in Arlington, TX. The event is open to adults and children of all ages as well as individuals whom would like to support and not take part in actual event. Read more

Restored & Renewed Ministries Masquerade Dinner

Mark your calendar; Restored & Renewed Ministries is hosting a masquerade dinner to “remove the mask” of abuse in Tarrant County through a night of live music, a silent auction, and food!

This purpose-driven event is Sunday October 18th, 2015 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm at the Golf Course at Fossil Creek in Fort Worth, Texas.
