TRWD’s Annual Fall Trash Bash is Celebrating 25 Years!

Can you believe it’s already time for the TRWD’s Fall Trash Bash again?! This year is extra special, as the Tarrant Regional Water District is celebrating its 25th year hosting this event. Imagine the thousands of pounds of trash that has been removed from our beloved Trinity River over the last 25 years thanks to this great organization!
This year’s Bash is taking place on Saturday, September 17, from 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM. Pick a location and bring a group, a friend, or just yourself, to help clean up trash and debris along the Trinity River in Fort Worth. Read more

Journey 2 Healing Hearts 2nd Annual ‘No More Gun Violence’ 5K/Fun Run

Journey 2 Healing Hearts (J2HH) is a non-profit organization that was formed out of grief after two local Arlington, Texas mothers lost their sons to gun violence. Their focus is on helping families and individuals heal after tragic losses due to gun violence, and also to support and educate the community for the cause of gun violence prevention.

J2HH will be hosting their 2nd Annual NO MORE GUN VIOLENCE Run on April 16, 2016, at Cravens Park in Arlington, TX. The event is open to adults and children of all ages as well as individuals whom would like to support and not take part in actual event. Read more

Wreaths Across America: To Honor Our Veterans

Wreaths Across America is an association working to honor and remember lost veterans during the holiday season. On a specified Saturday in December each year, wreath laying ceremonies are commenced in various veterans’ cemeteries across all 50 states.

This is an emotional, significant event for all of those who have lost loved ones in the line of duty.

The mission of this association is to spread the message about the importance of remembering our fallen heroes, honoring those who serve, and teaching children about the sacrifices made by veterans and their families to preserve our freedoms. Read more

Restored & Renewed Ministries Masquerade Dinner

Mark your calendar; Restored & Renewed Ministries is hosting a masquerade dinner to “remove the mask” of abuse in Tarrant County through a night of live music, a silent auction, and food!

This purpose-driven event is Sunday October 18th, 2015 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm at the Golf Course at Fossil Creek in Fort Worth, Texas.

2015 Cruisin’ for Wishes Car & Bike Show

Coming up in June, Shotguns and Stilettos Photography invites you to the 2015 Cruisin’ for Wishes Car Show at the Rangers Stadium in Arlington. Come out and enjoy all kinds of classic cars and motorcycles, contests, raffles, food, live music performances, shopping and more!

The event takes place on Saturday, June 20th from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Attendee entry is 5.00 per car parking fee and 2.00 at the gate per person for admittance to the show. Children 12 and under are free. All proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish North Texas! It will be a great time to enjoy with your friends and family, while helping to make a difference in the life of a child.
