As a small family-owned business in Tarrant County, Medford Design-Build takes great pride in our local community. Particularly in uncertain times such as this, it is encouraging to be able to lean on one another and find strength among our neighbors and friends. One of the biggest struggles for many families during this shelter-in-place order is the inability to work, resulting in a lack of funds for essential items, such as food. Luckily, there are a lot of organizations that are currently working within different communities to assist those in need.
Every year, Medford Design-Build contributes to the Greater Fort Worth location of The Boys and Girls Clubs of America. We are happy to help make a difference in the lives of the youth of our local community. This organization is also very close to our owner’s heart, as it played a big role in his childhood. We’d like to feature The Boys & Girls Clubs of America in our community spotlight blog this month; here is some information about their mission and history via www.bgca.org:
Fort Worth: it’s that time again – time for the annual Boys & Girls Club Crawfish Boil! Enjoy drinks, live music, and a plate full of crawfish! This is a great event to enjoy with friends, family, clients or employees.
The indoor / outdoor event lasts from 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the River Ranch Stockyards in Fort Worth. Along with the food and music, guests can take part in a Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament, crawfish races, and a silent auction of sports memorabilia.
