Pull & Replace
As our business continues to grow alongside our expanding client base, we have found that there are many homeowners looking to complete a remodel in which no walls or plumbing will be moved. We refer to these types of remodels as “pull-and-replace” projects, where the existing footprint stays the same. Original cabinets, countertops, backsplash, etc. are removed and replaced with new materials, but in the same location. Due to the simple nature of these types of projects, they do not require the full design package that would accompany a more complex remodel.
Our Small Projects Division, Mike’s Guys, is now happy to assist with pull-and-replace remodels! We are happy to set up an on-site consultation with one of our knowledgeable Project Developers to talk you through the process and answer your questions. If your project is truly a pull-and-replace, we’ll put together an estimate for the work and send it to you via email.
A pull-and-replace project can be approached in a few different ways, depending on the project specifications and your needs as the homeowner:

Choose the Design Selections Yourself.
If you know what you want in your remodel — the tile, countertops, paint colors, hardware, fixtures, etc. — then you can purchase your items on your own and have them on-site, ready to install when Mike’s Guys arrive. We will take care of the project management, demolition, installation, and hall-off of debris.

Utilize our Vendor List for Assistance with Choosing Your Design Selections.
If you have a vague idea of what you want in your remodel, but are still on the fence with selecting a few items, we recommend using our Vendor List on our website as a resource. You can call to schedule an appointment time with our designated representative, and they can help you narrow down your options and provide answers to any questions you might have. Once your items are selected, ordered, and delivered to your home, we can proceed to schedule your project with Mike’s Guys.
3.
Utilize Our Professional Interior Design Services to Choose your Design Selections.
If you are uncomfortable or overwhelmed with the thought of choosing your design selection items, we are happy to provide assistance with one of our professional designers.
Once you’ve signed a contract to hire Mike’s Guys for your project, one of our designers will be happy to meet with you at your home to discuss your style and tastes, and then round up samples and bring them back to you, allowing you to choose your favorites. This option also includes full project management, which means we will order your design selections for you after they are selected, have them delivered to our office, inventoried, and store safely until it is time for installation. Of course, you can still expect a Project Manager on-site to manage the demolition and installation, as well as the haul-off of any debris. This option requires a design fee which would be included as an optional add-on within your estimate.
