MLK Jr Day of Service: Socks, Hats, & Gloves Donation Drive

 

 

 

The National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum of Fort Worth is hosting a donation drive and a free family fun day, coming up in January!

 

Donations of childrens’ and adults’ socks, gloves, knit caps, and blankets are needed and will benefit the “Help for Desperate and Needy People (HDNP) International” Organization.

 

The event will take place from 10 AM – 2 PM at The Ranch – 3534 E. Berry St – in Fort Worth on Saturday, January 15, 2022.

 

Admission is free and includes activities such as games, face painting, and a rock-climbing wall. Complimentary refreshments will also be served. This will be a great family-friendly event to enjoy with your loved ones while contributing to the needs of the local community!

About the Organization

 

The National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum and Hall of Fame is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization located in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. The mission is to highlight the significant contributions made to the settling of the western United States by cowboys and cowgirls of multicultural ancestry, as well as preserve the history of the U. S. Buffalo Soldiers and Tuskegee Airmen.
