There are few things more rewarding than a quiet, serene space to relax. This is one of the big reasons master bathroom remodels are so highly sought after among homeowners! Our recent client in Flower Mound, Texas, felt the same way. Her master bathroom was over 20 years old needed a renovation to better serve as an at-home escape. She came to us with hopes of recreating the space into something she had always wanted; something she could enjoy for years to come! Check out the full story and this stunning transformation on this month’s featured project blog.
A galley kitchen remodel can be one of the more challenging home projects if improving storage space or changing the layout is the end goal. The limited space in these types of kitchens often prevents major structural changes from being made. Luckily, small changes can still make a big impact! Our recent client in Fort Worth wanted to breathe new life into her narrow 1960’s galley kitchen without sacrificing valuable countertop and cabinet space. Our team was able to identify the changes that could be made to improve storage, functionality, and overall aesthetic. The finished renovation is exactly what our client had in mind! Check out this amazing transformation in this month’s project blog.
Your front door is not only your first line of defense in keeping your home safe, but it also serves as a focal point and first impression piece for visitors. From choosing the right door to having it ordered and installed correctly, replacing a front door unit can feel like a big project. Our recent clients in Grapevine had been meaning to replace their faulty front door for quite some time, and our handyman division was thrilled to help them get the job done! It’s hard to believe the holiday season has come and gone and we’re already through the first week of 2021. The past 12 months have been a wild ride for us all, and we are ready to move forward to better things! On behalf of the entire Medford Team, we’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone that supported us throughout 2020 and helped us continue to work as an essential business. We wish you the happiest New Year, and of course, look forward to working with you in 2021!
It’s early December and most definitely fireplace season! The chilly weather, lights, sights, and sounds of the holidays makes cuddling up by a warm fireplace even more enjoyable. Our recent clients came to us earlier this year with hopes of remodeling their fireplace to create the perfect spot to cozy up next to this winter, along with a show-stopping focal point for their living room. We were blessed with the ability to remodel nearly every room in this client’s home over the last few years, and the fireplace was one of the major projects that continued to get pushed further down the list. They were beyond excited to finally get this renovation done, and it turned out perfect! Take a look at the blog for the full story, photos, and video on this luxury fireplace remodel.

2020 has been a crazy year! We think we speak for everyone when we say we’re glad it’s coming to a close. Despite the tragic impact of the global pandemic and all of the hardships, struggles, and uncertainties it created, we are still so thankful for the many blessings we have received — as individuals and as a company. This time of year really makes you realize how much we need and appreciate one another. The Medford Team would like to take a minute to say thank you to all of our wonderful clients for trusting us and continuing to provide us with business all year long. We are beyond grateful and look forward to continuing with you into the new year!
This year has undoubtedly been full of surprises, struggles, and unexpected outcomes for many across the US and the world. With the holidays just around the corner, it’s fair to say that we could all benefit from sharing some kindness and lending a helping hand to others. The Medford Team is always happy to promote local community or charity events providing opportunities to help those in need!
With a slight change in protocol due to COVID-19, the Salvation Army is taking their holiday donation drive virtual this year. Helping others is as easy as a tap or swipe on your smart device. This is great news – the foundation says it could serve up to 155 percent more people in 2020 around the holidays, but due to the closing of retail stores, the increasing unemployment rates, consumers carrying less cash and coins, and the decline in foot traffic, they could see up to a 50 percent decrease in funds raised through their iconic Red Kettles. In order to compensate, the Salvation Army is hosting their “Rescue Christmas” Donation Drive, now through late December. Supporters can now donate digitally with Apple Pay or Google Pay at any Red Kettle across the country. They can also ask Amazon Alexa to donate by saying, “Alexa, donate to The Salvation Army,” then specifying the amount. Or, give any amount by texting “KETTLE” to 91999. Red Kettles and bell ringers are not disappearing; they will follow nationally mandated safety protocols, the organization says. And Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program will continue, with gift drop-offs at locations like Galleria Dallas, done in socially distanced ways.
There are a lot of variables that go into building an addition on a home — the property lines, drainage, the roof tie-in, and of course, ensuring that the addition will match the existing structure architecturally and aesthetically. Each of these, among other important items, were carefully addressed for our recent carport addition project in Arlington.
Our team not only wanted to make sure that the project was done correctly and to code, but also that it solved the client’s dilemmas regarding storage space, a shelter for their cars, and a place to house their exotic plants during the winter. The solution was to convert the existing garage into a storage room and add a luxurious carport to the spacious driveway. The finished project is absolutely stunning and meets all of the client’s needs!
