Our community event spotlight this month features an upcoming fundraiser for the Jaren’s Angels Foundation! The 501(c)(3) organization is hosting a boat party at Lake Grapevine coming up in September.
The Rock the Boat party and cruise will be a fun night on the water, including a live DJ, delicious catered cuisine, raffles, door prizes, and goodies for all guests. Come dressed in your nautical attire and be ready to dance the night away as you mingle and network with some of Dallas’s finest philanthropists and socialites!

Pineoblastoma is a rare brain cancer that mainly affects children and often requires surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. And as with most cancers, there is no known cure. The tragic diagnosis of Pineoblastoma hit close to home for a young man named Jaren Paul Suber. He battled relentlessly with the disease for over six years. Jaren’s life exuded triumphs and strong faith, as he was an outstanding citizen, honor roll student, and an ambassador for various cancer advocacy groups. From his efforts, the Jaren’s Angels Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, was founded.
Its mission is to ensure patient wellness through funding for research and financial assistance, while promoting global awareness and increased understanding of pediatric cancers, thus finding a cure.
