Sliding barn doors have become an increasingly popular remodeling choice among homeowners. A trendy option over traditional doors, barn doors can be used in a variety of ways and come in various styles and colors.
Some of our recent clients fell in love with this new trend while collecting inspirational photos on houzz.com, and quickly decided they wanted to include a barn door as a part of their kitchen design – complimenting their spacious new pantry!
Upon their initial decision to install a barn door, the clients met with our interior designer, Stephanie, to choose just the right style of door, hardware, and paint color. After some deliberation, they settled on a rustic door with a teal finish. The clients couldn’t wait to have the door installed, as it would really add a pop of color and personality to their newly remodeled kitchen!
Our talented project manager, Michael, built the actual door from scratch, and then carefully applied several coats of paint, ensuring that the finished look would match the sample we provided the clients. They wanted a rustic, washed-out look that would really give their pantry some character.
After allowing the paint to dry for a few days, our craftsmen fit and mounted the finished door on the sliding hardware that they installed above of our client’s new pantry. The clients are ecstatic with the finished look!
