The Medford Team recently got a new team photo, including all of our newer team members! In case you haven’t had the chance to meet everyone, we’d like to take a minute to re-introduce the individuals that make Medford Remodeling the company it is today.
Our last team photo was taken in 2017. We are grateful to say that business has continued to come in and steadily increase since that time. To assist with our expanding client base, we have added 5 full-time employees over the last 4 years – each of them contributing a unique skillset and allowing us to provide optimum service as a whole. If there’s one thing (among the many things!) we take pride in, it’s the level of integrity, ownership, and dedication that each individual puts forth, clearly reflected in the quality of work associated with the Medford name. To say each team member is invaluable would be a great understatement, as we need one another to succeed!
The Design Team
One of our most impacted areas of service as business increased was drafting. The floor plans and 3-D renderings included in our custom design packages are a huge visual aspect of the design process, so it’s critical that they are done correctly and with great detail. That being said, the drafting portion is not something to be rushed though! Due to the number of designs that needed to be drawn, we made the decision to introduce two new Draftsmen to the Medford Design Team:
Brandy Anderson is our Senior Draftsman. She has been with us for over two years now, with our drafting process and efficiency improving greatly in that time! She holds a BS in Interior Design and is responsible for drafting, estimating, and drawing renderings.
Vickie Huynh has recently joined our team as a Draftsman and comes with 14 years of design experience in the commercial world. She holds a BFA in Interior Design. Her role is to assist with the many floor plans and renderings that need to be drawn, inform new clients of our services and process, and help with things like filing permits, going on consultations, and presenting designs.
Stephanie Milford is our talented Senior Interior Designer, holding a BS in Interior Design & Housing with a minor in Business Marketing. She has been with Medford for over 10 years and has over 30 years of experience as an independent Interior Designer. She oversees the final selections for our projects to be sure they bring our clients’ dreams to life.
The Production Team
On the production side, our Project Managers needed a hand as more production jobs were added to their plates. It took some time to find the right guys for the job, but we were able to find two of the best carpenters out there:
Greg Haws joined Medford in 2019 as a Professional Carpenter. He has been a fantastic asset in expediting our construction projects and allowing our team to stick to the projected schedule.
Scott Vernon also came to us in 2019 as a Professional Carpenter and is now assisting the Project Managers in running jobs and ensuring the highest level of quality and service.
Of course, we couldn’t get the projects done without our talented Production and Project Managers:
Dave Broadfield is our Production Manager and has worked with the Medford team for over 15 years. He is a Master Carpenter and plays a critical role in ensuring our projects are completed on time and to the highest level of quality and that the clients remain content throughout the entirety of the remodel.
Neil Norris is a Project Manager and has worked with the Medford team for over 15 years. He is a highly skilled carpenter and jack of all trades and is a huge asset working on our large build projects as well as smaller projects via Mike’s Guys.
Another area of service that has really taken off for us in the last few years is our Mike’s Guys division (Est 2017). If you’re not familiar with Mike’s Guys, think of it as an extension of Medford that addresses smaller projects, such as exterior work, repairs, and minor remodels. As the phone continued to ring for these types of projects, it became obvious that we needed someone to help manage it:
Crystal Kleinowski joined us in late 2019 as our Office Manager and head of Mike’s Guys administration. She handles all of the scheduling and communication for Mike’s Guys, completes estimates, answers the main office phones, assists with bookkeeping and purchase orders, and also keeps stock of everything we need around the office. Needless to say, she makes sure things go smoothly for the rest of us!
The Leadership Team
Michael Medford, Jr. is the Co-Owner, Corporate Vice President, as well as the Vice President of Production, and oversees our Project Managers and trade partners. He also heads up our Mike’s Guys division. Michael has over 20 years of experience in the remodeling industry and has earned several certifications for product and remodeling business knowledge.
Mike Medford, Sr., CR is the Founder and Co-Owner as well as the Corporate President and CEO. He has over 40 years of experience in the remodeling industry and is a NARI Certified Remodeler. He strives to build and mold our team of professionals to ensure the highest level of customer service to our clients and keep us moving forward as a team, all while making sure to have fun along the way!
Kourtney Davis is the VP of Operations and General Manager of our Design-Build division. She has been with the Medford Team since 2015. Along with being a home builders’ daughter, Kourtney has 17 years of experience in the industry and holds a BFA in Human Relations and an AA in Interior Design. Her outstanding leadership to the team ensures best practices are followed so that we can continue to provide high-quality service to our clients.
Ali Doskocil is our Graphic Designer and VP of Marketing, with a BFA in Graphic Design. She has been with our team since 2014 and manages our website, social media, blog, newsletter, print mailers, and marketing. She also introduces our new clients to our Design-Build process and explains all of the ins-and-outs of our custom design packages.
Sweetie is one of Mike Sr.’s rescue dogs that quickly became our beloved office dog. She has successfully held the role of Stress Control Manager for over 7 years. She is a great judge of character until you rub her belly… then all bets are off!
Beyond these team members, the Medford Team has a number of professional tradesmen, vendors, and suppliers that work with us on a regular basis to make all of our projects possible! Many of these people have worked with the Medford team for over 20 years. As a luxury remodeler, we require those that we work with to maintain a high level of pride in what they do. We believe the qualities of our final products are directly related to the individuals we choose to work with, so when we say we have a GREAT team, we mean it!
