Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is hosting it’s 4th Annual Spring Trash Bash on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM!
 
 
The Trinity Trash Bash is a bi-annual community event purposed to clean up trash and debris that accumulates along the Trinity River throughout Fort Worth. Families, friends and organizational groups come together as motivated volunteers to help clean up the river banks in 6 different locations.

Simply choose a location from the map and register.  Everyone is welcome– bring a group, a friend or just yourself! When the trash is all “bashed”, All volunteers are treated to an after party with free food, door prizes and entertainment at Panther Island Pavilion and Cobb Park.
 
 
Cleanup packets are available May 16th – 18th, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the TRWD Office – 600 E. Northside Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76102, or the morning of the Bash at your chosen location.
 
 
TRWD is aiming to break last year’s Trash Bash record of more than 4,000 volunteers, so be sure to help them spread the word! The first 3,000 to register get a free event t-shirt!

TRWD’s Annual Fall Trash Bash is Celebrating 25 Years!

Can you believe it’s already time for the TRWD’s Fall Trash Bash again?! This year is extra special, as the Tarrant Regional Water District is celebrating its 25th year hosting this event. Imagine the thousands of pounds of trash that has been removed from our beloved Trinity River over the last 25 years thanks to this great organization!
 
This year’s Bash is taking place on Saturday, September 17, from 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM. Pick a location and bring a group, a friend, or just yourself, to help clean up trash and debris along the Trinity River in Fort Worth. Read more

TRWD Hosts It’s Second Annual Spring Trash Bash

For the last 24 years, Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) has hosted an annual Fall “Trash Bash” to help clean up trash and debris that accumulates along the Trinity River throughout Fort Worth. During this great community event, families, friends and organizational groups volunteer to clean up the river banks in 8 Different locations.
 
The Fall Trinity Trash Bash has been so successful; TRWD has introduced a second Bash for spring! The turnout was so great last spring, they have added a 9th location to the map this year, so an even greater impact can be made on our local environment! Read more

Adopt-A-River!

We love our community and take pride in keeping the environment clean and safe. The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) does a great job of managing and maintaining four of our major reservoirs and also constructed more than 150 miles of water pipelines, 27 miles of floodway levees, over 40 miles of Trinity River Trails, plus a 2,000 acre wetland water reuse project designed to increase future water supplies for the area!
 
The TRWD also provides opportunities for the community to get involved in these efforts, such as the bi-annual Trinity River “Trash Bash” which encourages the clean-up and preservation of the Trinity River. Read more

It’s that time again; time for the annual Trinity River “Trash Bash!”

For the last 24 years, Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) has hosted an annual Fall “Trash Bash” to help clean up trash and debris that accumulates along the Trinity River throughout Fort Worth. During this great community event, families, friends and organizational groups volunteer to clean up the river banks in various locations.

For the last 23 years, Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) has hosted an annual Fall “Trash Bash” to help clean up trash and debris that accumulates along the Trinity River throughout Fort Worth. During this great community event, families, friends and organizational groups volunteer to clean up the river banks in 8 Different locations.

Back in 2013, I participated in the fall Trash Bash, along with our Marketing Coordinator at the time, Elizabeth. Several hundred volunteers came out to help, making the work go by quickly. It’s amazing how much trash there was, and how much better the river looked once it was cleaned up! Read more
