A Rustic Fireplace Gets an Elegant New Look

 
 

Check out this beautiful fireplace we recently remodeled for our clients in Arlington!

 
 

 
 
The client’s original fireplace featured a rustic, dated natural stone with heavy built-in wood shelves and a matching mantle. While it wasn’t the worst fireplace we’ve seen, it definitely needed a refresh to create the updated vision the clients had for their home.
 
 
Our designers discussed options to give the fireplace a more modern look, while still keeping its original footprint and built-in shelving. We then created detailed wall elevations and 3-D renderings to provide the clients with a visual of how the new fireplace would look once complete.

Sliding Barn Doors Add Personality to Our Client’s New Pantry

Sliding barn doors have become an increasingly popular remodeling choice among homeowners. A trendy option over traditional doors, barn doors can be used in a variety of ways and come in various styles and colors.

Some of our recent clients fell in love with this new trend while collecting inspirational photos on houzz.com, and quickly decided they wanted to include a barn door as a part of their kitchen design – complimenting their spacious new pantry!

Upon their initial decision to install a barn door, the clients met with our interior designer, Stephanie, to choose just the right style of door, hardware, and paint color. After some deliberation, they settled on a rustic door with a teal finish.
