A Nature-Inspired Guest Bathroom Renovation

There are typically two types of homeowners we work with: those that buy a newer home and want to remodel it promptly before moving in, and those that buy an older home with the intention of updating it over the span of several years. The latter describes our long-time clients in Fort Worth, TX.

The home was built in the 1950’s, and our clients moved in about 20 years ago with hopes to make it uniquely theirs a little bit at a time. Our team remodeled their kitchen first, and then added on a master bathroom at the back of the house more recently. This year, the clients were ready to address the guest bathroom that had been at the bottom of their list for quite some time. Read more

This Master Bathroom Remodel Proves it: New Homes Need Remodeling, Too!

This client came to us with a beautiful home, built in 2016. The original master bathroom included a high-end upgraded shower with stylish tile and modern vanities. While the sleek frameless-glass shower was very large, the bathroom itself was on the smaller side. Upon entering the bathroom from the master bedroom, the shower and toilet room were on the left and two large vanities were on the right, one on each side of the closet door. Structurally speaking, there was not a lot of space to work with; the original layout would have to stay the same. Because the main concern of the client was to somehow incorporate a bathtub into the design, the idea was presented to create a “wet room” within the oversized shower. A 1990’s Master Bath Gets a Much Needed 2019 Update!

Our recent clients have a beautiful home in North Richland Hills that they’ve lived in for several years. The house was in good condition, but the clients knew it was past due for an update.  One of the rooms at the top of their list to remodel was the master bathroom. The original bathroom was very dated, including pastel pink wallpaper, builder-grade cabinets, poor lighting, and limited storage space. With hopes of redesigning the room for improved style and functionality, they contacted us to address their needs. Our knowledgeable team of designers met with them in their home, discussed the issues and possible solutions, and provided the clients with a clear course of action to get the project done. Once a Formal Dining Room, Now a Custom Home Bar!

Our featured project last month was a beautiful kitchen remodel we recently completed in Southlake, Texas. Our client’s main goal was to create a more open-concept floor plan and update the interior of their 1990’s home. The project involved completely renovating the kitchen, removing some walls, and relocating the dining room into the larger space that was originally the formal living room. At the end of that blog post, we mentioned that we also designed and built a custom home bar in place of the original formal dining room, just on the other side of the new kitchen. This month, we’d like to share the details of this stunning home bar, from design to completion! Read more
