Specialty Space Design Process
Design Package
To determine exactly how much your specialty space remodel will cost, a custom design package is required. These designs give you a clear visual of the finished room and allow us to detail every aspect of the project—specifying materials, labor, cost, and timeline. Your package includes:
- Floor Plans & 3D Renderings of your specialty space layout
- Scope of Work Document with cost and timeline
- Budget Items Worksheet to outline allowances for selection items
Our custom design package ensures you understand precisely how your specialty space will look and what the investment will be—before construction ever begins.
Design Fee*
The cost of a custom design package for a specialty space starts at $1,750. The design fee is payable when you sign the Design Agreement at your initial consultation. If your specialty space includes adding square footage to your home, a non-refundable $225 consultation fee is
required.
When you are ready to move forward with Medford Design-Build for the construction of your project, your design fee will be credited toward your project down payment.
Consultation Fee
Please note that, based on the complexity of this specific type of project, a non-refundable $225 consultation fee is required. This is typically paid over the phone in order to reserve the appointment time. If you proceed to purchase a design package, the $225 is applied to the cost of the package.
