Take a look at this beautiful kitchen we recently designed and built! If you’ve been following our Facebook posts, we’ve been keeping up with this project and posting progress pics weekly. It’s always exciting to post the grand reveal of the completed remodel and then look back over the previous weeks to see the transformation take place. What a gorgeous remodeled home this turned out to be!
BEFORE: The client’s kitchen before the renovation was narrow, crowded, and had a awkward use of space!
BEFORE: The wall including the sink and the dishwasher separated the kitchen from the living room, leaving the clients with little space when entertaining guests. They really wanted to open up the kitchen to the living room, creating a flowing, contiguous room.
BEFORE: The kitchen was so narrow and closed-off!
After the design was approved by the clients, our team got to work removing the old kitchen and demoed the existing wall. It’s amazing how much bigger the kitchen and living room felt as soon as that wall was gone!
Following the demo, our drywall guys came and refinished the walls and ceiling. They provided a great canvas for our remodel, leaving no trace of the original kitchen.
The cabinets were finished and the island was completed with a rich, dark stain. Hector Garcia did a great job installing the granite and tile!
The new kitchen features stainless steel appliances, beautifully painted walls and shaker style cabinetry, satin nickel hardware, granite counter tops, hickory wood flooring, glass mosaic tile backsplash with deco band, strategically placed can lights, and decorative glass pendants over the new island. Another cool feature we installed is an under-counter microwave drawer. These are becoming a very popular request for many of our kitchen remodels. Instead of taking up valuable counter space and creating a cluttered look, this design fits discretely under the counter and automatically slides open like a drawer at the push of a button. Large plates can easily be set inside and lifted out after heating. Neato! Photo by Larry Crowder.
Taking out the wall separating the living room from the previous galley kitchen not only opened up the space, but really brightened the area by exposing the wall of windows overlooking the backyard. Final photos by www.impressia.net
The kitchen renovation also included the addition of large cabinets and a walk-in pantry for even more storage space. Final photos by www.impressia.net
We were also able to repaint the client’s dining area, add crown molding and incorporate the same wood flooring from the kitchen and living room. Photo by Larry Crowder
The client’s living room is now bright and spacious and is open to the kitchen and dining room. Final photos by www.impressia.net
The updated fireplace now serves as a beautiful focal point in their living room, really complimenting the renovated area as the entertainment center of the home. Our guys really did a great job creating the stunning custom mantel, which ties in well with the hickory wood floors. Final photos by www.impressia.net
