Every year, Tarrant Area Food Bank’s signature event attracts over 2,000 guests and volunteers who donate their time, money and interests into a fusion of culinary and visual arts.
Empty Bowls Fort Worth allows guests to sample tons of soups and deserts from both high-end and casual dining restaurants and caterers in the Fort Worth area.
Guests can browse unique keepsakes from among 2,500 handcrafted bowls by North Texas artisans and also bid in a Live Auction for Celebrity Bowls, each signed by internationally recognized stars of stage, screen and sports ( Yo-Yo Ma, Harry Winkler “The Fonz,” Arnold Palmer, Tommy Tune, to name a few!)
The event also consists of various raffles with prizes like Mavericks tickets, a 42-inch flat screen TV and a Jason Aldean Concert Experience, complete with tickets, backstage access and a signed guitar!
The event takes place:
Friday, February 20, 2015 from 11 AM to 1 PM
at the Will Rogers Memorial Center:
3401 West Lancaster, Fort Worth, Texas 76107
Tickets must be purchased ahead of time, and start at $50. If you can’t make the event, you can always make a tax deductible donation!

Want to paint a bowl for next year’s event?
Each year volunteer painters, professional and amateur alike, begin painting bisque bowls for the next Empty Bowls event, even as the current one takes place.
Hart Street Pottery would like to invite you to join in the preparation by painting bisque bowls for the upcoming 2016 Empty Bowls event. A $4 donation per bowl is requested to help manage costs.
