Our recent clients in Arlington had lived in their 1970’s home for many years and were ready to revamp the dated kitchen. The idea was not only to have a brighter, more modern-looking aesthetic but also to improve the functionality of the room. Cabinet storage, counter space, and a more functional layout overall were big considerations when it came to designing the new area. One of the first items on their wish list was to have a more open, flowing floor plan between the kitchen, dining, and living room.

As our business continues to grow alongside our expanding client base, we have found that there are many homeowners looking to complete a kitchen remodel in which no walls or plumbing will be moved. We refer to these types of remodels as “pull-and-replace” projects, where the existing footprint stays the same. Original cabinets, countertops, backsplash, etc. are removed and replaced with new materials, but in the same location. Due to the simple nature of these types of projects, they do not require the full design package that would accompany a more complex kitchen remodel.
The right patterned wallpaper has the potential to make a show-stopping statement; unfortunately, that isn’t always the case with an original wallpaper from 1975! Our recent clients in Arlington wanted to remodel their dated master bathroom, which featured, you guessed it, floor-to-ceiling patterned wallpaper. They imagined a more modern look, with sleek tile, LED can lighting, a large walk-in shower, and a streamlined aesthetic. Our team was able to create a modern design, including everything the clients hoped for and more! Check out the transformation
on the project blog post.
The Medford Team recently got a new team photo, including all of our newer team members! In case you haven’t had the chance to meet everyone, we’d like to take a minute to re-introduce the individuals that make Medford Remodeling the company it is today.
Our last team photo was taken in 2017. We are grateful to say that business has continued to come in and steadily increase since that time. To assist with our expanding client base, we have added 5 full-time employees over the last 4 years – each of them contributing a unique skillset and allowing us to provide optimum service as a whole. If there’s one thing (among the many things!) we take pride in, it’s the level of integrity, ownership, and dedication that each individual puts forth, clearly reflected in the quality of work associated with the Medford name. To say each team member is invaluable would be a great understatement, as we need one another to succeed!
