For our featured blog this month, we’re taking a trip back in time to one of our absolute favorite kitchen remodels! This boxy kitchen felt crowded and dark and was closed off from the rest of the house. With some creative thinking by our designers and the helpful input of our clients, we were able to open up the room with a fresh design, providing the absolute best use of space. The final product is a bright, spacious kitchen that is perfect for entertaining! See the rest of the photos and re-live the magic of this remodel with our project blog post. Read more

Our featured project blog this month is a master bathroom addition we completed on a 1950’s home. The existing master bath was only 35 square feet in size — smaller than most guest bathrooms you’d see today! We were able to give our clients more square footage and a modern look, along with important aging in place features. The beautiful wooded backyard was also incorporated into the design. With the help of our team, the client’s dream bathroom is now a reality! See the blog for all the details and final photos! Read more

Hello, March! Our featured project this month is kitchen remodel we recently completed in one of Fort Worth’s historical homes.
The house was originally built in the early 1900’s — an era of small, boxy floor plans. While this home had already endured a few major renovations over the years, the kitchen itself was still very much in need of some updates.
See our project blog for before pictures, details about the redesign, and the grand reveal of the final renovated space! Read more

Just about every major remodeling project we complete includes replacing the existing flooring, either in the remodeled area or throughout the entire home. Flooring selection is a big decision that can influence the overall cost, installation time, and lifespan of the remodel as a whole. A common question we receive from our clients is which is a better choice – classic hardwoods or luxury vinyl plank? The two are very comparable and make excellent options for hard surface flooring depending on what the individual homeowners prefer.

In order to best compare the two, we suggest taking into account 4 major qualities of hard surfacing flooring:

• Aesthetic Appeal
• Durability
• Installation
• Cost

Stay Cool With These ‘SOLID’ Flooring Ideas: Our July 2015 Newsletter

Did you know that choosing optimal flooring is one of the best ways to combat heat retention in your home? While carpet may be fitting for winter months, it can really trap heat and contribute to a higher energy bill throughout the summer time. Cooler options, such as tile or wood, can be covered with carpets or rugs during cold weather and then exposed once the temperatures rise. Not only does this method refresh the style of your home for spring and summer, but it also provides an easy way to keep the temperatures comfortable for you and your family all year long! Read more
